Mr. Gerald Weiner, also known as Gerry, served as an elected Member of Parliament for the federal government of Canada. Mr. Gerald Weiner held various titles working for the Canadian government: Secretary of State, Minister of Multiculturalism and Citizenship, Minister of Immigration, Parliamentary Secretary to External Affairs and Queen’s Privy Councillor.
As part of his lengthy service at the most senior levels of the government of Canada, Mr. Gerald Weiner was responsible for the creation of the Department of Multiculturalism and Citizenship, was principle author of the Canadian Multiculturalism Act and was centrally involved in the creation of the Immigrant Investor Program. He is also a pharmacist and former Federal Cabinet Minister.
Jim (James) Metcalfe
James has 25 years of experience with the Government of Canada working as a Foreign Service Officer in Ottawa and overseas, first as a Visa Officer and then as a Consul and Officer in Charge in Canadian Embassy’s and Consulates in Europe, Australia and the United States as well as tours of duty in Ottawa.
In 1993 he left the government and established his own successful consulting firm in Toronto. In 2005 he moved to Pace Law Firm with his team to establish an Immigration department. In 2017 he retired from Pace but remains active by assisting several law firms and consultants on complex immigration cases in the Toronto area. With his experience as a Visa Officer, Canadian Consul, and as a Consultant, he has assisted thousands of people to immigrate and to live, work, and study in Canada. His work has required extensive travel throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. James’ knowledge of immigration law and procedures has resulted in an expertise to analyze issues and resolve complex problems quickly.

Michael Shribman
Michael is a serial entrepreneur that has invested in and launched multiple ventures within the healthcare and medical space. He is actively involved in mergers, acquisitions and consultancy and has founded several companies that are aggregators of ideas for projects and intellectual property in the biopharma and medical device industries.
Michael has experience consulting and advising entrepreneurs and connecting them with funders, mentors, advisers, business planners, incubators and accelerators to ensure that projects and ventures are economically viable. He has over 18 years of experience in direct marketing and sales in commercial real estate and the international fenestration industry.
